My Story
After tearing my ACL, MCL, PCL, posterolateral corner, and lateral and medial meniscus in a car accident, and multiple failed surgeries, I was discharged from the medical system technically “fixed” on paper, but still very broken when it came to doing the things that made me feel alive.
Many visits back to the doctors and physical therapists yielded almost no results. Treatments were only temporary. I had no answers and my quality of life was not looking good.
After years of searching, I finally came across Ben Patrick (@kneesovertoesguy), creator of the ATG (Athletic Truth Group) system, and intuitively knew this was my only way out. It only took a few weeks to start seeing results with his program! I spent a few years loosely adding in some ATG exercises here and there and it helped, but I realized that in order to achieve the results I wanted with my knee, I needed to go all in.
I studied the program in great depth, started recording my progress, worked with ATG coaches to develop the right stimulus for me, systematically scaled my own programming, and became an ATG coach myself. It was only after I got serious that I finally started getting the results that I so desperately wanted after my car accident.
That’s why I’m here today— because simply doing some exercises here and there just won’t cut it if physical freedom is truly what you’re after. It can be a lot to figure out, which is why I’m here to guide you in the right direction and get you going on your own journey to physical freedom.
Training Methods
ATG (Athletic Truth Group) is an exercise system developed by Ben Patrick (@kneesovertoesguy) after he was sick of his terrible knees getting in the way of his basketball dreams.
After failing to find answers in the medical system, he poured over any and all research he could find, ranging from ancient Chinese methods designed to reverse arthritis in their elderly, to strength and rehab techniques utilized by world class Olympic strength coaches.
After training directly with one of the top Olympic strength coaches in the world, Charles Poliquin, he developed the ATG System and designed it to scale to ANY ability. This system can help anyone from grandmas just wanting to walk down the stairs to professional athletes.
This system addresses joint strength, stretch strength (mobility), structural balance and common weak links to improve movement ability, decrease or eliminate pain, ensure longevity in quality movement, and improve quality of life in general. When you can move better, every aspect of your life is better.
